Section 01
Overview

Toolriz ("we," "us," or "our") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users and visitors of toolriz.com to do the same. We are committed to responding promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our website.

This DMCA Policy describes our procedures for dealing with notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512. It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement and to remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content where appropriate.

In Short: If you believe any content on Toolriz infringes your copyright, you can submit a takedown notice following the procedures below. We take all valid notices seriously and act promptly.

Section 02
What is the DMCA?

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a United States copyright law that provides a framework for online service providers like Toolriz to respond to claims of copyright infringement. Under the DMCA's "safe harbor" provisions, service providers that follow proper notice-and-takedown procedures are protected from liability for user-posted infringing content.

TermMeaning
Takedown NoticeA formal request from a copyright owner (or their agent) asking us to remove allegedly infringing content.
Counter-NoticeA formal response from the accused party disputing the takedown and requesting restoration of the removed content.
Designated AgentThe person at Toolriz designated to receive DMCA notices. Contact details are listed in Section 10.
Safe HarborLegal protection for service providers who respond promptly and properly to DMCA takedown notices.
Section 03
Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available on or through Toolriz infringes one or more of your copyrights, you may send a written notification of claimed infringement to our Designated Copyright Agent (see Section 10).

Before submitting a notice, please be sure that the content you are reporting is actually infringing your copyright. Consider whether the content might be covered by fair use, a license you may have granted, or other exceptions to copyright protection.

Note: Toolriz primarily provides online tools and calculators. If the alleged infringement relates to a tool output or user-generated content, please describe this clearly so our team can assess the situation accurately.

  • You may send your notice by email to our Designated Agent at dmca@toolriz.com
  • We will acknowledge receipt of valid notices within 2–3 business days
  • Incomplete notices that do not include all required elements may be disregarded
  • We will notify the alleged infringer and provide them an opportunity to file a counter-notice
Section 04
Required Elements of a Takedown Notice

To be valid under the DMCA, your written takedown notice must include all of the following elements. Incomplete notices will not be processed.

  • Your contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work: A clear description of the copyrighted work(s) you claim have been infringed. If multiple works are covered, a representative list is acceptable.
  • Identification of the infringing material: A clear description of the material you claim is infringing, along with the specific URL(s) on Toolriz where the infringing content can be found.
  • A statement of good faith belief: "I have a good faith belief that use of the copyrighted material described above is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  • A statement of accuracy: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that the information in this notification is accurate and that I am the copyright owner, or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
  • Your physical or electronic signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Filing a false DMCA notice is a serious matter. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), you may be liable for substantial damages — including costs and legal fees — if you knowingly misrepresent that content is infringing. See Section 8 for details.

Section 05
Filing a Counter-Notice

If you believe that content you posted on Toolriz was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice to our Designated Copyright Agent. A counter-notice is a legal document — you should consider consulting an attorney before filing one.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days of receiving the counter-notice, we may restore the removed content at our discretion.

Please note that Toolriz is not in a position to provide legal advice regarding your situation. We encourage you to seek independent legal counsel before submitting a counter-notice, as it has legal consequences.

Section 06
Required Elements of a Counter-Notice

To be valid, your written counter-notice must include all of the following elements:

  • Your contact information: Your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Identification of removed content: A description of the content that was removed or disabled, and the URL(s) where the content appeared before removal.
  • A statement of good faith belief: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification."
  • Consent to jurisdiction: "I consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which my address is located, and I will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice."
  • Your physical or electronic signature: A physical or electronic signature of the subscriber or account holder.
Section 07
Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, it is the policy of Toolriz to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, access for users who are deemed to be repeat copyright infringers.

  • A user who receives two or more valid DMCA takedown notices within a 12-month period may be considered a repeat infringer.
  • Toolriz reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account or user identified as a repeat infringer, without prior notice.
  • Toolriz also reserves the right to terminate access at any time for any user who infringes the intellectual property rights of others, regardless of the number of notices received.

We take copyright infringement seriously. Repeated violations will result in permanent removal from our platform with no opportunity for appeal.

Section 08
False Claims Warning

We take the abuse of the DMCA notice process very seriously. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that content is infringing, or that content was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to significant legal liability.

  • Do not file a DMCA notice if you are not the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Do not file a DMCA notice as a means to suppress content you simply disagree with or dislike.
  • Knowingly misrepresenting a copyright claim can result in damages, legal fees, and costs being awarded against you.

We reserve the right to seek damages from any party that abuses the DMCA notice process.

Section 09

If you believe that any Toolriz content infringes your intellectual property, please follow the notice procedure described in Sections 3 and 4 of this policy.
